Heimtextil saw a jump in visitor numbers of 10%.
The textile show attracted more than 50,000 buyers during the four day show earlier this month. Over 3,000 companies exhibited, including a significant increase in flooring manufacturers.
‘142 participating nations, growth in exhibitors and a 10% increase in visitors show trade fairs are in more demand than ever. In times of persistent inflation and low purchasing power, resilience and market presence are key. This is exactly how Heimtextil enabled industry and retail: to access new markets and thus actively shape global competition,’ says Detlef Braun, Messe Frankfurt director.
International visitors made up 84% of those attending, with notable growth seen from Argentina, France, UK, India, Italy, Japan, Canada, Netherlands, Sweden, South Korea, Spain, US and UAE.
Some 94% of visitors – a record – expressed satisfaction, along with 81% of exhibitors who said they had achieved their goals.
