Bed manufacturer Dreamland Beds (Midlands) has insisted that it is ‘thriving and fully operational’ and not involved in any insolvency event.
The NBF member, which exhibited at January Furniture Show, says suggestions it is closing down are ‘entirely false’ and it is ‘continuing to trade without interruption.’
Dreamland Beds B’Ham was placed into liquidation on 8 January. It had debts of more than £3m, including more than £2.77m owed to trade creditor and no assets.
Dreamland Beds (Midlands) is owned by SQZ Holdings, which is owned by Mohammed Qamar and Noor Jan.
‘We understand that misinformation can create concerns, but we want to reassure everyone that we are here, operational, and thriving,’ says a Dreamland Beds Midlands statement. ‘We value the trust our customers and partners place in us and are committed to providing the quality and service they have come to expect.’
