Christine Kasoulis, Sainsbury’s business unit director – clothing & home is to leave the group.
She joined the group in May 2022, where she was responsible for Habitat, Argos and Tu.
Before Sainsbury’s she spent 14 years at John Lewis, including six as head of buying home and buying director home and three as director of brand development. After leaving the department store chain in May 2021, Kasoulis became a consultant before joining Sainsbury’s.
The group recently said furniture sales had been subdued’ in the quarter to 4 January and announced plans to cut senior management posts by a fifth as part of 2,000 redundancies.
