Upholstery, beds and homewares chain Loaf is set to open its largest store, and its first in Scotland.
The chain hopes to open the 9,100sqft branch on the Straiton retail park, Edinburgh ‘in late autumn.’
A mezzanine will house a mattress testing area and there will be 800sqft dedicated to smaller ‘Loafing Supplies’ such as mugs, candles and hot water bottles. Colouring stations and arcade games will also be on hand.
Edinburgh will be its ninth branch.
‘It’s high time people in Scotland had a bit of Loaf on their doorstep so they can kick their shoes off in style. Our new Edinburgh Shack is packed full of our squishy sofas, beds, cabinetry, lighting and plenty of Loafing Supplies: all basic requirements for a happy life in the slow lane. We can’t wait to open the doors,’ says Charlie Marshall, Loaf founder and ceo.
