Made.com has hired former Sainsbury’s Argos brand and digital marketing director Dan Elton in the newly created role of chief customer officer.
The role will involve leading Made’s marketing, digital and customer experience teams.

Elton joins from Google where he had been industry head of fashion and sport before his Sainsbury’s role. Before that he spent six years at rival Tesco, including head of Clubcard marketing and customer insight and analytics director.
