The new creative partnership between Carpet Edition and the late designer Ken Scott saw 33 rugs and tapestries drawing inspiration from the artistic universe of the famous designer.
Recalling Ken Scott’s most iconic creations, Carpet Edition has given life to a collection that blends the elegance and vivacity of his works with the functionality and aesthetics of fabrics for interiors.
Inspired by some of Scott’s most iconic works, mainly drawn from the floral world, the tapestries were designed to be hang on the wall and admired as true works of art, while the rugs, available in different shapes and sizes, offer infinite opportunities to personalise every interior space. Eight iconic Ken Scott flowers were on display at Salone: Anemone, Cosmos, Giunchiglia, Ipomea, Petunia, Rosa, Viola del pensiero, and Zinnia.
The history of Scott as a pioneer in fashion combined with Carpet Edition tells the story of the interaction between fabrics, shapes and colours, highlighting the crucial role they play in enriching and defining living spaces.
