MFS showed the value of doing business face-to-face

The importance of face-to-face business was at the centre of ManchesterFurniture Show. Visitors – attendance ‘remained in line with the 2025 edition’– praised the show’s format, breadth of product and the ability to discover new suppliers in a manageable environment, including the new MFS Springboard, a dedicated showcase designed to support emerging furniture and interiors brands. Exhibitors welcomed the quality of buyers and calibre of conversations.

The return of the Women in Furniture Network attracted a full audience for its Shared Growth in Action panel discussion, generating strong engagement and reinforcing the growing importance of creating opportunities for wider industry conversations alongside commercial activity.

‘As the industry continues to navigate changing market conditions, the show again demonstrated the enduring importance of bringing buyers and suppliers together in person. Strong exhibitor commitment, engaged buyers, growing investment from new brands and the level of early re-bookings point to a market that continues to value doing business face-to-face, and laid solid foundations for MFS’ milestone30th anniversary when it returns to Manchester Central on 4-5 July 2027,’says Paddy Wallace, MFS head of sales.
