Robert Morris and George McGraw, former Morris Furniture joint-mds have paid tribute to Alan Higgins, who has died.
He is survived by his wife Pam and children Daniel and Nicola and grandchildren.
‘I knew Alan for 45 years, 30 of which he worked with him at Morris Furniture Company, firstly as sales agent for south-west England where he won the company’s National Salesman of the year award twice. He was soon promoted to national sales manager and then UK sales director,’ says McGraw
‘Alan was a great favourite of many retailers throughout the UK and in particular in the southwest, and he will be greatly missed by all,’ says Morris.
‘It is no coincidence that Morris Furniture Company expanded and grew its business during Alan’s time, he was a very hard-working colleague who supported our customers and sales team and will be greatly missed,’ says McGraw.
