Breasley is to rebrand its mattress collection.

‘A lot has changed since our last outing at the January Furniture Show. As we continue to evolve and grow the business into a strong British brand that we are proud of, one that serves our customers with the best products at the best prices, we have continued to analyse, ask questions of ourselves and make tough decisions,’ says Mark Hughes, Breasley sales director.

‘Firstly, our planned addition of a new 45,000sqft space and investment in machinery took place at the start of the year, enabling us to increase our production and storage capacity. This is an objective we had been working towards since 2021 and one that signals our desire for growth and to become the number one sleep brand across the UK and Republic of Ireland. 

‘Second – and one that we are immensely proud of as it signifies our intent to create the best products for our customers – the Uno EcoBrease Lite Memory Pocket and Uno EcoBrease AstroTech 1000 mattresses were recognised by Which? as a Which? Best Buy Double Mattress for June 2023. The mattresses scored in the top 5% of all those tested by the independent body.’ 

Describing the mattress, Which? said: ‘This is both tantalisingly cheap and one of the highest-scoring mattresses to emerge from our recent tests. Brilliant durability coupled with good levels of support make it a Best Buy.’

‘It is an honour to have the Uno EcoBrease Lite Memory Pocket and Uno AstroTech 1000 mattresses tested by an independent governing body and receive such a high accolade. It further demonstrates the quality of our products and shows the strides we are making within our manufacturing business,’ says Hughes.

‘And we have not stopped there. September is set to top everything as we launch our new core and online retail range under the newly revamped Uno brand name. The collection will consist of new fabrics and design specifications that further enhance the quality and feel of our products, making them even more competitive and more desirable for consumers. Simplifying our product range under one brand was common sense as it gives us the springboard to create a stable of products that our customers can move forward with, knowing that we are providing the best quality and competitively priced products for their needs.

‘The new brand launch signals months of research and development within the business and comes at an exciting time. Not only does it bring an easier to understand yet wide range, but it also gives us the opportunity to create a more exciting look and feel as we head towards the end of 2023 and springboard into 2024.
