Newness

Responsible manufacturing practices are core for Source exhibitors.

Source Home & Gift returns to the NEC from 4-7 February. The only international sourcing platform of its kind, the show brings together global manufacturers who pride themselves on responsible manufacturing practices, with key retailers, wholesalers and brands which care about how great products are made.

All this across eight sectors including homewares; toys; packaging; stationery and greetings; gifts; furniture; textiles and technology and services. Source Home & Gift is where ideas become great products and the show looks set to deliver newness from around the world. Companies from Senegal, Ghana and Nepal will be making their debut, joined by more than 400 manufacturers and suppliers from over 25 countries including Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Senegal, South Africa, UK and the US, making February its biggest show to date.

Putting responsible sourcing at the heart of the show, all exhibitors at Source Home & Gift are required to have a recent audit from Sedex or a recognisable audit institution, giving buyers the confidence that they will meet suppliers that have responsible business practices.

New for the February show, visitors will discover a host of handicrafts and design-led products from Africa. Look out for hand-crafted ceramic tableware from South African company Gingham Ceramics. From Ghana, Geolicrafts is committed to the desire to create jobs through the enhancement of artisanal skills and will showcase a wide collection of handicrafts including woven baskets and accessories. Liloba Collection from Senegal will present a colourful handmade collection of woven bags.

Working with 100 artists in Haiti, Beyond Borders Fair Trade has been working with and nurturing Haitian artists in Croix-des-Bouquets for 15 years, supporting real economic improvement and lives bettered through the creation and sharing of their beautiful art.

Long-established Egyptian decor glass producer Alfagr will present its Christmas ornaments, candle holders, gift objects, glass vases, jugs and drinkware.

Source Home & Gift brings the world to the UK as an easier, cheaper and more effective destination to discover what’s trending, and to develop and source new materials and products. Key buyers and sourcing directors from across the globe will be in attendance – all actively looking to establish new relationships and purchase from new suppliers in

a sustainable way.
