Malcom Nix, Gradi UK heads of sales is to retire after 40 years in the furniture industry, in a career that covered beds, upholstery and cabinet.
Nix has been in charge of the Italian upholstery manufacturer’s UK operations for six years, and will retire at the end of March.
‘It is with much regret and sadness that due to family circumstances I have confirmed that I will be stepping down from my position with Gradi Living at the end of March. I cannot tell you what a great six years I have had and the Gradi family will be friends for life,’ says Nix.
‘From 1 April I will be officially retired but until then I will be working with the family to ensure a smooth transition and hopefully helping them to find somebody to take on my role. For anybody that hasn’t looked at the Gradi offer recently take a look when you have the opportunity: you may be surprised!
‘It is sometimes hard to find honesty, integrity and a passion for design and quality but this business has it in abundance. I will miss my involvement with Gradi, the agents that form the team and also many customers I have worked with over many years for whom I will be forever grateful for their friendship and support.’
