Tapi has opened its latest branch while another independent retailer is holding a closing down sale.
The UK’s largest flooring retailer has opened in the Heart Shopping Centre, in the centre of the Surrey town of Walton on Thames.

Meanwhile, Inverclyde retailer Carpet World is holding a closing down sale at its Clarence Street premises in Greenock.
It says it will close on 26 February and items have been reduced to ‘cost price or less.’
It is only accepting cash payments.
