Furniture Village has seen pre-tax profits and the amount paid to employees leap in its most recent financial year.
Pre-tax profits jumped by 28% to £10.1m.
The amount paid to employees through the Family Partnership Profit Share scheme jumped by 77% to £2.25m in the year to the end of June as 1,050 members of staff shared the payout.
Although turnover was not disclosed, sales in 2022/2023 were £358.781m. The retailer had seen orders increase by 3% on first 34 weeks of 2023/2024 financial year.
Cash or cash equivalents leapt from £25.1m to £40m.
