A Greater London flooring company is making another attempt to demolish its former store and convert the site to flats.
Brajeff Flooring wants to demolish its former The Wood Floor Shop store on Mawney Road, Romford, and replace it with a three-storey block of six flats.
The company says that The Wood Floor Shop could not compete with Floors-2U, which opened on the same road, and so stopped residential business, focusing on its contract operations.
The application replaces a previous scheme in August 2021 which was rejected over the mix of properties.
