Jessica Alexander, The Furniture Makers’ Company will be joined by five others abseiling 100m down Portsmouth’s Spinnaker Tower to raise £5,00 funds for the industry charity.
On 13 September she will be joined by Andy Corbett, Vita Group business director (comfort division); Limun Wells, Ergochair head of sales; Amanda Waring, FMC past master and David Woodward, Celtheath director and FMC past master and Graham Marley, furniture conservator.
‘Abseiling 100m down the Spinnaker Tower is certainly
outside my comfort zone, but knowing we’re doing it to help those starting out on their careers and colleagues throughout the furniture and furnishing sector makes it worthwhile. We hope the industry will get behind us and help us reach, or even exceed, our £5,000 fundraising target,’ says Alexander.

group of volunteers from across our industry.’
