Source again proves demand for ethically produced, artisan products

The popularity of sourcing ethically produced, artisan products has again been demonstrated by Source Home & Gift 2025.

Held alongside Spring Fair, the show connects international manufacturers from key sourcing regions with leading retailers, brands, contractors, and interior designers who are seeking new, responsible suppliers or exploring private label opportunities. The show floor was busy with a wide range of buyers keen to explore the diversity, high-quality and handcrafted products from around the world.

‘We’re proud to be back with so many incredible manufacturers for our buyers to discover and form partnerships with. We’ve had a busy start to the show with lots of buyers who are looking for high quality, handmade items as well as opportunities for new suppliers and unique product collaborations,’ says Suzanne Ellingham, Source Home & Gift event director.

On the show floor, visitors were treated to a array of textiles, home decor and rugs all ethically manufactured from exhibitors such as the Carpet Export Promotion Council from India, which made its show debut. By collaborating with governments and agencies globally, Source Home & Gift has been able to showcase top-tier manufacturers and artisan producers to the UK market.

‘I’ve loved the show so far – the buyers here aren’t just from the UK—they come from all over the world, giving us a fantastic opportunity in the market. We’re committed to attending this show twice a year, every year,’ says Maninder Singh, Craft Asia Exports ceo.

‘Being here at this event has been great — it’s given us the chance to hear directly from the market, meet amazing new and existing partners, and really see where we fit in this space. If this momentum keeps up, we’ll be back next year with an even bigger stand,’ says Sarah Long, Solution International UK sales director.

‘We’ve had an amazing response from independent stores and large buyers, not just from the UK but also from Ireland and Australia. This has been such an exciting experience, and we’ll definitely be back for the next show. The opportunities here are incredible, and we’re grateful to connect with people who truly appreciate our work,’ says Ledda Galves Impicciatori, at Peruvian artisan brand Sumaq Qara.

This year’s exhibitors offer buyers a balance of scale and quality across key product categories, and brings the entire supply chain to buyers, covering homewares, furniture, gifts, textiles, toys, stationery, greetings, and technology. With more than 160 exhibitors from over 12 countries, Source Home & Gift promises a diverse and comprehensive sourcing experience.

The show continues at the NEC until Wednesday.
