Stacey secures 95% of bonus target

Tim Stacey, DFS Group chief executive earned a bonus of £586,000 last year, securing more than 95% of his eligible bonus.

Stacey and interim cfo Marie Watts achieved 95.8% of their maximum bonus in 2025/2026, as the group delivered an increase in performance and profitability.

Watts received a pro-rata £189,000 and John Fallon, former cfo, a pro-rata £168,000. These brought their total renumeration to £1.165m, £411,000 and £344,000 respectively.

A quarter of Stacey’s bonus is deferred into DFS shares for two years.

Of the five criteria uses to determine executive bonuses, at least 93% of targets were met in all categories apart from environmental, which saw only 49% achieved.

Employees and executive directors received a 2% rise in base salary in the year, with pension contributions of 4% for both.

The current year’s bonus will see Stacey eligible for up to 120% of his base salary, while Watt could earn up to 110% of her salary.

However, Stacey missed out on the 2022 long term incentive plan as the performance criteria were not met. Fallon would not have received any if the target had been met as he left in January.
