Charlotte Jarvis, Hugh Mackay sales director is cycle from Nottingham to Hartlepool to raise funds for victims of the Turkish earthquake.
Jarvis plans to undertake the 170 mile journey over two-and-a-half days on 25-27 March, having never cycled that far before. Last weekend she completed her first 50 mile ride as she stepped up her training.
‘I have decided to cycle from my home in Nottingham to the Hugh Mackay sales office, where I work in Hartlepool. I will complete this ride over a two-and-a-half day period, in an attempt to raise as much money as I can for the victims of the Turkish earthquake. Through work, I have many colleagues that work in this region of Turkey and I want to show my support and raise funds to help the victims of this disaster,’ she says.
‘Anyone that knows me, knows that I am a serial MacDonald’s goer and the suggestion of cycling 170 miles is a pretty mean feat for me. I ask for your generosity to help support the victims of this terrible natural disaster.’
