Scratch No More has a furniture glide for almost any smooth floor
Scratch No More’s comprehensive range of furniture glides are equipped with durable polyamide fibres, so when furniture is moved across a floor, dust and dirt such as sand are absorbed between the fibres, rendering them harmless to the floor.
Other materials often used in glides, such as felt or PTFE, pick up sand and drag it over the floor, where it acts like sandpaper, causing damage to the floor.
The polyamide fibres in Scratch No More’s glides last about eight times longer than felt glides, and the glides are easy to maintain: brushing, vacuuming or wiping are all that is required to keep up their protection function.
Almost all of Scratch No More’s furniture guides consist of two parts: a base and a replaceable glide foot. The base only needs to be mounted once, with the foot simply clicking into place, which allows for easy replacement when needed. This is particularly useful for wooden furniture legs, as they will not be compromised by repeated mounting every time the glide needs to be replaced.
Thanks to the soft polyamide fibres, all furniture glides from Scratch No More are sound-absorbing, providing an extra benefit.
The collection features a multitude of options. Along with various diameters, Scratch No More offers square, round, oval and rectangular bases for wooden or tubular legs; bases for round or flat-sided cantilever legs; threaded and castor options, and leg base choices depending whether or not the leg is flat on the floor. There are also options that prevent the glide from being removed by hand: for example, in shared space settings.
Some base and glide combinations are suitable for situations where the leg is angled up to 30deg.
