Anglepoise has unveiled its fifth collaboration with renowned designer Paul Smith.
The Anglepoise + Paul Smith Edition Five comprises two desk lamps (mini and standard size) and a floor lamp and builds on Smith‘s ‘with a twist’ design philosophy.
Where previous Anglepoise + Paul Smith collaborations have maximised on Smith’s use of colour, the Edition Five takes a different approach and features the Artist Stripe on a pared back, pure black version of the Type 75 Anglepoise, designed by Sir Kenneth Grange.
‘By creating a design that is head-to-toe black – from screws and fittings through to our signature springs – we bring focus to the purity of Kenneth’s Type 75 design. Edition Five will be covered by Anglepoise’s lifetime guarantee, a promise to service and maintain any lights brought by domestic customers in an effort to reduce landfill.
