Mike Coope, Oak Furnitureland chairman has landed his third chairmanship.
The former Sainsbury’s ceo, who oversaw the acquisition of Argos and Habitat, will become chairman of clothing chain New Look on 29 September.
He is also chairman of cruise travel agent Harding.
Former House of Fraser and the Range chief executive Nigel Oddy has been New Look’s ceo since January 2020. ‘I am delighted that Mike is joining the company as chairman, and having spent time with him already, we both share the same excitement and enthusiasm to deliver on our strategy,’ he says.
