The strides in sustainability and training taken in the furniture industry will be spotlighted in the 2026 Future of Furniture Awards.
There are four awards: Excellence in Education, Excellence in Sustainability, Excellence in ESG Reporting and Sustainability Champion.
They will be judged by Amanda Moore, Achieve and Partners md; Richard Naylor, Hawksfield founder and BFA sustainability consultant and Eleanor Garrett, Planet Mark business development manager.
The winners will be revealed at March’s Furniture Component Expo.
‘Since the first Future of Furniture Awards in 2023, we’ve seen an array of fantastic projects and initiatives put forward from BFA members. The awards are a great way to highlight the work our member businesses are doing in training and sustainability and to celebrate the work of individuals who have shown leadership and commitment in the sustainability arena. The awards are increasingly recognised as a hallmark of forward-thinking and innovation and we are extremely pleased to have the expertise of our judging panel to assess the entries,’ says Phil Spademan, BFA md.
‘BFA members can enter any or all of the categories and we look forward to once more applauding the excellent work businesses are doing to lead the industry into the future of furniture.’
The closing date for entries is 23 January, with criteria and entry forms available on the BFA’s website.
