Flooring Superstore has opened another two branches, increasing numbers to 37.
The chain has invested £200,000 in a 4,080sqft store at The Capitol Centre, Preston and £175,000 in a 5,272sqft unit at the Kingsditch Trading Estate, Cheltenham.
It brings the number of openings since non-essential retail re-opened in April to 15.
Branches in Glasgow and Southampton are scheduled to open later this month as it aims to reach 50 stores by the end of the year.
‘We are thrilled to have been able to add Cheltenham to our growing list of stores. The town has been a prime target for a while, but we were waiting for the right opportunity and have now found that with a fantastic location in a busy retail area’, says Nathan Pritchard, Flooring Superstore regional manager.
‘Our store openings are coming thick and fast, and we are delighted to have now been able to add Preston to our list of locations in the UK,’ says Greig Anderson, Flooring Superstore regional manager. ‘It’s our first store in Lancashire so it has strategic importance to us, and we’re looking forward to welcoming shoppers.
‘Despite interruptions caused by Covid-19, we have continued with our expansion programme throughout 2020 and 2021 and the reaction when we open new stores is always very positive.’
