The Newport store will close on 18 February citing rising costs and ‘government instability’ for the decision.
Sister store Homestyle of Blackwood will remain open.
‘After 13 years of trading in Newport we will be closing our doors. We are now running a closing down sale, with big discounts on all remaining stock as we clear the shop. All pre-booked fittings will be honoured. We truly appreciate everyone who has supported us over the years,’ it says on its Facebook page.
‘Thank you for being part of our journey. The main reason is rising costs and government instability. The government isn’t making it easy for small business owners. So now is the right time. It’s been amazing meeting you all.
‘If customers would like the continued excellent service and value for money, my other shop Homestyle of Blackwood would welcome them with open arms.’
