Homewares and general retailer Wilko has delayed payments to its suppliers as it looks to manage cash.
The chain has told suppliers that bills due between 11 September and 8 October will be paid a month later.
It has also changed its terms so suppliers will be paid in a minimum of 60 days, according to the Sunday Times.
Earlier this month it told landlords it would pay rent monthly, rather than quarterly.
