It has been a busy year so far for Ekornes globally. Fredrik Ødegard Nilsen was promoted from executive vice-president and cfo to Ekornes Group ceo in May, with a focus on ‘creating clear direction, strong execution capability and rapid impact in our most important priorities. We will strengthen operations and delivery capability, improve productivity and ensure initiatives that make us an even better partner for our customers.’
Stressless Adam is the company’s latest recliner, winning a Red Dot Design Award in 2025. Consumers are already impressed, with this model ranking third in the UK. The Stressless upholstery offer was boosted earlier this year by the introduction of Marigold, a boucle wool fabric, and shoppers welcomed its soft feel and textured look.
The brand returns to January Furniture Show in 2027, with a 300sqm stand in Hall 1.
It is set to debut new models across dining, sofas and recliners.
