Carpetright owed other retailers almost £3.5m in outstanding rent and charges, including more than £1m to DFS.
At least 11 retailers were owed a total of £3.493m when the chain collapsed, according to the recently filed statement of affairs.
DFS easily tops the list with £1,561,934 (for Newcraighall, Lothian), followed by Wickes £896,976; B&M £384,626; Furniture Village £323,668; Bensons for Beds £167,604; Lidl £102,092; Asda £24,454; Hafren £20,393; Barkers £18,400; B&Q £15,000 and Marks & Spencer £11,734.
The retailers, along with property companies, pension funds, local authorities, charitable foundations and individuals are owed a total of £148.26m.
The statement of affairs also shows that Carpetright was in debt to almot 25,000 individuals (mainly consumers, employees and fitters) and companies.
Some 20,930 shoppes were owed money; 1,669 companies; 1,569 employees and 298 landlords.
Total debts are estimated at £377.1m.
The 45 page statement of affairs was signed by Peter Charles, described as a consultant and director of Carpetright from 20 March-30 July on 14 August.
