Eight days of wait and see for Made customers as John Pye begins trade sales

Made.com customers have been told they will have to apply to become a creditor if they do not receive their orders by 25 November.

Administrator PwC says 4,500 orders are with delivery companies and are expected to be delivered by that date.

Another 12,000 orders that have been paid for but the products were in production or had not begun production will not be dispatched.

PwC has advised customers to contact their bank to make a Section 75 claim if they paid be credit card or chargeback if they paid by debit card, providing the order was for more than £100.

PwC sold Made’s brand and IP to Next for £3.4m and auctioneer John Pye is to sell the etailer’s stock. It expects to begin online auctions next week and is already offering products by the truckload.
