Flooring sales enjoyed a monthly increase in July, but were lower than in 2020 but still significantly ahead of 2019.
According to the Office for National Statistics, average weekly sales for flooring in England, Wales and Scotland was £39,666,000 in July.
This was a 4.6% increase compared with June 2021.
However, it was a decrease of £7,731,000 compared with July 2020.
In contrast it was £10,576,000 higher than in July 2019.
