Lighting group Flos has become carbon neutral.
The manufacturer says it has achieved this largely thanks to offsetting, purchasing carbon credits in two wildlife projects.
The Great Bear Forest Carbon Project in Canadian British Columbia supports changes in managing the territories involved in the protection of the forests on the Pacific coast where wolves and Grizzly bears live while the Guatemalan Conservation Coast Project works to protect the remaining forests of the region from deforestation. The project area hosts more than 400 species of birds.
It says it hopes to cut carbon emissions by 27% by 2030.
