Prices for household furniture jumped by 13.2% in November, according to the Office for Nation Statistics.
This compares with a rise of 13.7% in October and is the lowest increase since November 2021’s 12.2% rise.
Garden furniture saw increases fall to 13.5%, down from 14.1% in October, but still more than double November 2021’s 6.3%.
Lighting saw a 6.9% rise, down from October’s 7.6% but well above November 2021’s 2.1%.
Furniture and furnishings saw a monthly drop from 13.3% to 12.9%. A year earlier the rate was 11.7%.
