The value of retail furniture and lighting sales rebounded in June.
Sales in England, Scotland and Wales reached £329,925,000 – and increase of 4.66% on May.
Sales were £25.94m higher than in June 2022, an increase of 8.53%, according to Office for National Statistics data.
Of the 450 months since January 1986 when comparable date was first recorded, June 2023 was the fifth largest month in terms of the value of sales.
The figures are not seasonable adjusted, do not allow for inflation and are subject to revision.
