The UK bed industry is ready to move forward after the effects of the pandemic and Brexit, David Moffitt, NBF president has told members.
Speaking at the association’s 109th AGM he said: ‘We’ve weathered having no business coming in, to being flat out; supporting our customers with online trading; juggling component shortages and delays; and price hikes of a level and frequency we’ve not seen in a generation.’
The online meeting also heard that the NBF’s Retail Champion’s scheme had attracted more than 225 members representing nearly 300 independent stores and was given details of several environmental initiatives it is involved in.
